HiSOPE researchers have drastically reduced the consumption of micro-LEDs for optical communications. Thanks to innovative compensation models, the throughput is reduced by +71%, leading to energy efficiency below 40 pJ/bit—a leap towards ultra-fast and sustainable networks. A breakthrough that could transform the future of datacenters and telecommunications.
